Figuratives

The style of my figurative work is generally abstract and sometimes decorative.  The compositions use a balance of shape and texture to tell a visual story expressing the actions or feelings about the human condition.
The recent paintings in the "Misunderstood" series explore historic female antagonists found in mythology, literature and opera libretti.  The style and content are intended to show social complexities, temptations, survival instincts and duality in all women.
